Did you know that?
  • Only a licensed dental assistant in Michigan can legally perform specific intra oral duties in a patient's mouth.
  • A graduate of the WCC dental assistant certificate program begins working for a minimum of $14 - $18 per hour plus benefits.
  • WCC has a distance learning program for on-the-job trained dental assistants that extends to the northwest part of the Upper Peninsula.
Does your dentist hire a credentialed dental assistant? If you don't know the answer to this question, ask about it the next time you visit your dentist.

Remember, a WCC DENTAL ASSISTANT BRINGS A SMILE TO YOUR FACE!

Dental Assistant Program

Today's dental professionals provide efficient, safe, comfortable care for their patients. Duties include four-handed dentistry, infection control, and common laboratory and business procedures. Today's dental assisting professional must also possess good patient management skills.

Learn the skills necessary to become a dental assistant by entering the Dental Assisting Program at WCC.
