The mission of the Dental Assisting Program is to provide an accredited one-year certificate program that will prepare students for an entry level career in the field of dental assisting.

  • We will prepare students to successfully achieve the knowledge and master the skills required to obtain state licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant or certification in dental assisting through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB).
  • We will provide a diverse curriculum that will prepare students to function as an integral member of the dental team.
  • We will provide students with a practical clinical experience in partnership with local dental offices.
  • We will assist graduates in obtaining employment in the field of dentistry.
