College Closing Practices
Classes and community/company events hosted at WCC will meet as
scheduled and College offices will remain open for business as usual
unless announced otherwise.
If circumstances warrant, the College will make either a "Classes
Cancelled" or "College Closed" announcement.
"Classes Cancelled" means that WCC classes will NOT be
held, but that College offices are open and staff, including non-instructional
faculty, are expected to report. (Instructional Faculty need not report if their
classes are cancelled unless otherwise noted on the School Closing Information
Line, 734-677-5288.) Note that certain community and/or company events may be held
even if classes are cancelled.
"College Closed" means that WCC classes will NOT be held and
that College offices are also closed. Note that certain community and/or company
events may be held even if the College is closed.
